County Fair Art Collection Drops August 28
My latest art collection drops August 28. The inspiration is county fairs. Everything from carnivals, baby animals, garden produce, home-baked pies, quilts and more.
If you are on. my email list, I will send you a reminder the day before.
The summer squash is a preview of what is to come as far as the smaller paintings. I will have paintings as large as 48 inches.
Painting Hollyhocks
Hollyhocks are in bloom. That means I am painting hollyhocks. The humble yet stately and colorful hollyhocks always brings me cheer.
Glacier National Park Wildflowers
While hiking in Glacier National Park, I felt in awe of the colorful wildflowers.
I took many photos of the wildflowers and plan to make paintings inspired by some of these wildflowers.
Wild Bladder Campion Flowers
The wild bladder campion flowers are some of my summer favorites.
They magically pop up unexpectantly in wet soil.
I enjoy painting them because of their dainty white flowers, sturdy stems, and alizarin crimson veining.
I most especially enjoy and appreciate the flower's hardy and optimistic behavior.
