Currently, I am being inspired by the bounty of summer. The bounty of late summer flowers and harvest in rich and warm jewel tones is transferred to my painting palette. I love this time of year. The amount of ideas outweighs my time and effort. I will be sharing a little bit now and a lot more in a new end of summer collection of works soon. Sign up for my email list for updates.
Wishing you a happy August!
While hiking in Glacier National Park, I felt in awe of the colorful wildflowers.
I took many photos of the wildflowers and plan to make paintings inspired by some of these wildflowers.
I have been spending a lot of time in the mountains lately.
Even though the landscape is frozen, it is still beautiful to me.
Here are some fresh mountain lion tracks.
Some of the best views can be seen from atop a mountain.
While on road trip stopped by FAST fiber glass mold graveyard near Sparta, WI.
Near the Mississippi River and La Cross WI on my way westward on I-90 found this little gem of a stop. A bit eerie and fantastic.
