I was looking for Western Tanager birds and saw that a bunch of chokecherry trees were in bloom. A grove of chokecherry trees. Aspen grove.  Do you see the bear marks? Currant flowers. Syringa blossoms on in the foothills. Wild berries.  

Bob the cat by the lilacs. Baby pinecones. Can you find the birds? Rain on the daffodils. Apple blossoms. Rainy day lilacs  

Springtime Mountain Snowfall.  It's a good thing lilacs like cold weather. More snow-covered lilacs. Plum blossoms got a dusting of snow too.

Today I picked dandelions and dried them for teas and such.   Tomorrow I am making a dandelion jelly.  I have not made that before.  But I heard it tastes great. Here comes my cat, Bob.

I visited a sunflower farm and Von Bergen Country Market in Hebron IL this past week.   There were several large sunflower fields and mazes plus a corn maze and country market.
